The Peer Advisors (PAs) are available to assist all students at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. They attend and help plan the SSCI 111/112 College and Career Success courses taken by students who are new to the program. Their purpose is to serve as role models, to offer advice to new students based on their experience as current students, and to connect new students to available college resources.
Peer Advisors also plan and implement workshops outside the SSCI courses to inform students about various topics of interest or assist them with necessary academic tasks. Special events held by the Peer Advisors will be posted on the Workshops tab as soon as they are scheduled.
Feel free to contact the Peer Advisors with your questions and attend any events or workshops they hold, even if you are not currently a student in SSCI.
